Consume these foods to avoid diseases during rains
1.Green chilli-Green chilli is such a thing which does not get attacked by B bacteria or fungus in the rain. Of course it is spicy but it contains an alkaloid called piperai which has many benefits. Along with this, it contains Vitamin C, Vitamin K and many types of antioxidants which protect us from serious diseases. It prevents the formation of free radicals in the body, which reduces the risk of infection. Green chilli is also a panacea for gas.
2. Fresh fruits-Eat fresh fruits like peaches, plums, cherries, blackberries, pomegranates in the rains. These contain Vitamin A, C, fiber and antioxidants which do not allow diseases to occur. Do not eat chopped fruits or fruits that look bad on the outside.
3. Fluids- Drink more fluids during rains. Increase the intake of soup, masala tea, green tea, pulses etc. This will keep the body hydrated which is important for immunity.
